Hi guys,
Over the last few years we've been researching gaming gear of over 1500 pro players.
Here is an infographic we made with the data: https://www.gearrate.com/en/pros/best-gaming-gear/
Thank you.

i feel like this reflects less what gear pro players would prefer to use on their own and more how many players are sponsored by what company

I mean it's not like the (non-monitor) peripherals you're using matters anyways. As long as it's been made in the last 5 years and costs above $10 the main limiting factor is going to be your own skill.
144hz+ will make a much bigger difference than upgrading either your keyboard or mouse tho.

I think mouse and mousepad matter, but keyboard and headset don't matter at all.

The data set could be interesting if it was weighted by championships or something but as it stands it's just a list of what pros say they use, which isn't always true or correct because of contracts with sponsors.
The days of there being just a few good mice are far behind us, and this promotes a sort of pay to be good mentality that is simply incorrect.
