Hello guys, I've made a tool to combine huds. I always liked the idea of mixing and matching hud elements from different huds to make Frankenstein huds, so now I've made a tool to do just that:
https://github.com/tommy-mor/hudmixer/raw/main/screenshot.png
personally, I like rayshud with health from m0rehud.
how to use
- go to https://github.com/tommy-mor/hudmixer/releases , and download hudmixer-windows-latest.zip
- extract that folder and run the program. you might have to tell windows defender to "run anyway"
- for feature in the UI, click that row to select the hud folder you want that feature to come from (you can leave any of them blank but the first one)
- click export, and choose a directory that your exported hud will go to.
- drag the new folder "MIXER_EXPORTED_HUD" into tf/custom like you would any other hud
if you want to start your collection of source huds quickly, you can also download "hud-collection.zip" which is a nice starter pack.
if you have any problems with it, contact me on discord at tommyy#9722, or make an issue on the github.
thanks !!!
EDIT: if you come across this now, probably best to use https://www.teamfortress.tv/60220/hud-merger , it is almost exactly the same concept, but theirs is better tested and has more features
