Hi,
having some real issues with mumble. My microphone (and any I try to use - 5 in total - USB, mic only, combo jack, bluetooth and even webcam) just wont be picked up by mumble.
All microphones I've tried to use are picked up by my PC, it shows that they're working, can be used in discord and work fine. However, when I try mumble I can select them as a device but they will not pick up ANY sound - whether its PTT, continuous or activity.
Windows doesn't even say that mumble is using my microphone (in the bottom right tray, where it says if apps are using your microphone when launched)
I have disabled the "allow applications to take exclusive control of the device" setting as well. I have also tried closing discord as well while using mumble.
Not sure if its me being dumb or there's a setting somewhere I don't know about.
This is a new PC and mumble has never worked on it thus far, but the mics did previously work in mumble.

Have you tried fiddling about with the audio wizard in mumble? I had this issue ages ago and changing the thresholds in "volume tuning" and "voice activity detection" in the audio wizard fixed it.

Have you reinstalled the audio drivers for your motherboard?

_KermitHave you reinstalled the audio drivers for your motherboard?
I did indeed, still wasnt working.
Figured out it's to do with my sound card software. Asus Xonar AE. If its active it stops only mumble from working but every other voice app works. Guess I'm just going to have to disable it if I wanna use mumble unless someone has a fix

What version of Mumble are you using?
I recently started using Mumble again and realized that the "suppress" feature for PTT no longer exists. I went and grabbed the last version where this did work, 1.3.4
Here is a github with an MSI for that version. It might worth a shot trying an older version?
https://github.com/mumble-voip/mumble/releases/tag/1.3.4
Also, this might sound stupid but have you tried not using that audio software at all? I usually prefer to avoid those for reasons like this. If everything works without the software and you can just have a normal driver, then perhaps just avoid the software and the problem altogether. But I'm not sure if that will work for you.
