Hey using my graph cfg since around 2016 but my fps are mutch worse than in the past.
I used to have 300-400 fps.
Now I am 100-200 which is rlly bad since I picked up a 240hz monitor.
Gpu rx Vega 64
Cpu AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
I know that this isn't the latest hardware but I don't get why the game runs this bad.
Maybe some of you have similar hardware and share some of your experiences.
Thanks in advance.

might want to try a more modern config

If you have radeon software, go to [Performance - Tuning] and check if ur min gpu clock isn't set to it's bare minimum, if it is than set it to either 100mhz or 200mhz lower than your max clock speeds [like that]
That should give a slight fps boost (about 50+ increase for me [went from 800mhz to 1531mhz])
also back in 2016 there was a lot less hats, unusuals, less weapons etc.
but as someone mentioned, you might wanna try mastercomfig.

Tf2 is Volvos bastard child of a spaghetti code mess (if you reference the leaked source code of a 2017 build of the game) and with more cosmetics it hasn't gotten any better.
This video is 2 years old, that shows the difference between Team Comtress 2 a modified version made by @Mastercoms (Amazing work! I whole heartedly think Volvo needs to hire you) vs the state the OG game was when the video released.

The way to make todays tf2 to run somewhat smoothly is a fps config and brute force with hardware. Well there are tons of optimizations you can do within windows/OC/ram OC/Tightening timings but thats not what the average user will do and shouldent have to. :/
