When i join any server in tf2, even private server, i usually get 400-600 fps in private , but in community i get 200-300, as soon as i start moving my mouse, it drops to 30-60 fps. is there any way to fix this issue? Is it my pc or my tf2

my specs are :

Geforce GTX 1070
16 GB Ram
216 SSD
2TB HDD
H510M H motherboard

Generally you will have lower fps on community servers beacuse of them having plugins, more players + they aren't directly hosted on your computer.
(or if they have plugins that allow people to wear any hat/unusual they want, that can provide some lag as well beacuse there will be a lot more models and particles rendered).

But I think that the issue with fps dropping that much when moving your mouse could be a problem on your side.

Btw have you experienced this fps issue on every server or just some of them?

also do you have motion blur enabled? it might be causing the issue since tf2's motion blur is an effect applied when you move your mouse.

Im running 8khz without much issues, however you need to tweak few things within windows to make it stable (enough) ;)

No i have not fucked around with windows.
