I tried hosting a dedicated server on a loopback address and I've been getting the infamous "Connection failed after 4 retries.". Here's my start.bat:

D:\tf2-server\tf2\srcds.exe -console -game tf -secure +ip 127.0.0.1 -port 27015 +sv_lan 1 +map itemtest +maxplayers 24

Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated

Couldn't you just host it on your LAN ip?
