Hey people I've some questions I want to ask.

So I miss the newbie mix yesterday (Pacific Time is like 2 hours later right?) Does anyone know when the next mix will be held?

Next is: HOW THE HELL DO YOU INSTALL PVHUD ON STEAMPIPE. I have to reinstall TF2...twice, because I have no idea how to install the hud, can anyone link or post how to do it?

Last: How do you install P-Rec on steampipe?

Steampipe suck... Thanks anyone who helped.

Edit: Also my last recorded demo is my worst game ever as Medic, lost 0 - 4 dropped Über twice (I think) And I play like a drunker than a demoman, not that I'm drunk but shitty PC.

Newbie mixes are usually held on Fridays and Saturdays (from what I remember).

You can install custom HUDs by placing the HUD files in your tf/custom/pvhud/ folder (which you need to make).

P-REC does not work on SteamPipe afaik.

1. Newbie Mixes are generally held on Saturdays from 9 pm to midnight Eastern Time. This is 6 pm to 9 pm Pacific Time. Occasionally, they will be held on Fridays at the same times.

2. You put it in common\Team Fortress 2\tf\custom\HUD\[HUD folders here]. The "HUD" folder could be any name you like, but HUD, in my opinion, makes the most sense.

3. P-REC is currently broken on Steampipe. It is not known when it will be fixed. When it is fixed, it should go in the custom folder as well.

It's an opt in BETA thing

But don't you have to turn the folder into a .Vpk thing for it to work?

AznBoizBut don't you have to turn the folder into a .Vpk thing for it to work?

No, it works just as a folder. Steampipe reads custom VPKs first, then custom folders, then official VPKs, then the rest of the tf folder. Anything in the root tf folder (instead of custom) will only be loaded if a file of the same name wasn't found in the custom folder or the official VPKs. This means that custom maps and plugins like P-REC (when it's fixed) should be able to be loaded from the root tf folder, but a HUD wouldn't.

That's how I understood what I've read about Steampipe. Regardless, I'd keep everything in the custom folder. It's much easier to look at and organize.
