Yo, I had an idea the other day of a constant 'streaming' TF2 radio that features a mixture of Pre-recorded Vods from the community that are played in a random playlist meaning that somebody always has something to watch.
Skyride helped me out with a very elegant solution the other day, and to gauge interest 'TF2radio' will be live for about 10 hours with a selection of vods I've chased up from the past few days. The vods showing tonight will be:
Broder vs CC POV from TviQ
Broder vs CC & Broder vs BFF casts from Teamfortress.TV
Crack Clan TV's CC vs Broder with mumble comms
My aim is to get a massive variety of quality content of a massive spread of the TF2 streaming community, so if you have any recent or vintage vods to share(not highlights or youtube links), then I would love you to post them (with express permission of the original uploader)

great stuff, would be better with more content as I think broder v cc might get stale quickly haha but if it continues with a variety of stuff that'd be awesome

Ohhh, I was wondering what was going on. Good idea! Suggestion: some display of the schedule/rotation and a 'now playing' that includes date and competition. Like late night telly.

I think I made a post about this when TFTV first became the site it is now. It would be amazing if a streamer/group of streamers set something up where there would be 6+ hours of content a day. Having every single content creator (EU casters, NA casters, Kritzcast, Fully Charged, etc) all being hosted on one channel, in an actual TV format. Maybe put in commercial breaks to make money, but have lots of filler content to stick between the real casts/recasts.
I supposed the huge issue with this though is lack of content, and well as little motivation to do it. It would take a lot more time from whoever is responsible for it, as opposed to just running a single cast.
I guess I can keep dreaming.

I thought you weren't supposed to rebroadcast Twitch streams on other channels (heard this from slin), that might just be live broadcasts only. Good idea though.

tbh though, I wouldn't my vods replayed on there without consulting w/ me first.
Broadcasting eXtv archives has definitely crossed my mind. I need to get another hard drive, then maybe I can put everything in one place and stream a shuffled playlist to eXtvEsports2

I've got permission for all the vods I've taken, I haven't taken any extv vods as of yet mainly just tftv & vanillatv vods so far

New VODs include: CrackClan close-ups, a Brego POV official vs Broder, a VanillaTV Insight by Mike on roamer, and a lot of interesting games from the s13 ESEA LAN and s14 ETF2L Playoffs!
We now have enough footage to run constantly for a full day! Go watch it guys.

should definitely get vods from other leagues too, like ozfortress, asiafortress etc.
Maybe some frag vids, streamhighlights and some educational stuff like MGE archives as filler inbetween some games too?

At the moment we can't run it 24/7 because the box is being used and we don't have enough cash for a new one. Also there are some crashes every now and then which will be ironed out shortly once we identify the root of the problem... but that is the intention yeah.
