Hello everyone!
I would like to know if it would be a good idea to create a Steam Group for ESEA-open players to pug together.
The objective of the group would be to play pug games together and have fun, when we dont have a full team to scrim with.
(I would see the games being played mostly between 5pm eastern - 9:30 eastern, before the scrims time start for many players, but this is details)
Why creating another group? (I know there is the Power community PUG too and some others)
I know there is #tf2.pug.na running games, but i think the skill level of players using it is very different from each other. (Sometimes we got invites players, sometimes we got random players with no experience) Also, i usually add up while there is only one game running and when it's finish, the same people generally get in. (Good players are getting picked first, which is normal and fine!)
I can personally provide the server and pay for it, with the mumble if there is any interest by the community!
I would like to only accept players from Open, that are on a team, registered and everything. (This point is open for discussion)
It's just an idea im throwing here.
If anyone is interested by helping me handling this, (if we do it) it would be greatly appreciated. There is a lot of work to do, by setting up the group, contacting players from Open Teams, inviting them to the group. Also, we would need to write some ground rules.

Of course there will be exceptions, friends joining, etc. We could make the rule '' if you are in an active open team, or was the last season''.

On a side note, im thinking about LOW-IM / mid-IM players who cant scrim in the invite pugs.
Are they gonna want to join it?

There have been different teams that organize pug groups in the past, and while these were usually successful, I think a general open pug group would be amazing and would get at a much wider audience. If you need help running this or organizing scrims on servers, add me and I'd be more than happy to help.
