So i had to rollback my driver in order to play at dx8 because it kept flashing when i used the latest drivers. Today my textures started to flash again and when i checked my drivers it changed back to 311.06. So now am I wondering do drivers update itself and how do i make it stop updating?

I had the same problem. windows kept automatically updating when I turned my computer off. go to your Control Panel > System and Security > Windows Update > Change Settings and you select it under important updates

Is there any way to fix that flashing without rolling back? It's getting really annoying and I don't want to roll back just for source games...

Switch to dx9 if you don't want to roll back.

ESEA doesn't allow DX9 for CS:Source.

I heard from someone on here that the GeForce 320.00 BETA driver supposedly resolved the texture flickering problem. Worth a try. http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/61261

The 320.00 beta drivers fixed the dx8 flickering with my 660Ti, too. Pretty happy with it.

I told nvidia about the bug a couple weeks back and submitting my computer information, maybe they only fixed it with the 600 series because it looks like the 600 series works only. I'm on a 650.
