dayz sucks now. hackers ruined it. as soon as the stand alone comes out (rumor has it alpha starts next month) im all over it.

try the wasteland mod for arma2, way more fun than dayz these days. You dont need to install anything, just search "wasteland" in the filters in operation arrowhead

ive been watching dayz streams a lot and they look incredibly fun, but I'll deffinalty try wasteland seanbud was streaming it looked fun also, thanks!

DayZ was amazing with friends, a lot of walking and preparation but it just makes the action more epic when it happens. Hackers are a bit of a bummer though :/

when i played dayz with von, some hacker teleported every player in the server to one spot and killed all of us. it was hilarious but it sucked. dayz is a fun game when there are no such problems.

If you can teleport everybody into one spot using a client sided hack, that tells me the game was coded terribly fucking wrong.
