neroFixed: I guess I had some plug-in hidden in my tf folder cause I just deleted the whole thing and ran tf2 default and it worked so thanks anyways guys

Any idea what it was doing?

im getting this same error

i just rejoined the server and it worked fine for me

I got the same error.

I kept getting this error. Ive tried multiple times in different servers and I kept getting it. Finally it ended up working but then I got kicked 5 seconds after I got in saying i must have the client running to play on the server, but that doesnt make any sense because i joined through it.

Launch the server from esea client. If the error pops up after conncecting. Alt tab to client and connect to the server again. Make sure team fortress 2 is still running while you alt tab.
It worked for me.

I just moved prec out of the custom folder for the match and recorded a demo manually.

Now that I think of it I don't remember what I named that demo.
