Monitor or graphics card problem???

So I'm getting a weird visual error in dark greys colours on my monitor.
it looks like this:

Is this a graphics card glitch or a monitor glitch?
my other monitor is fine so I assume its the monitor.
It's an ASUS VG236H that I got last Christmas.

Any ideas?

if i play for a while my monitor does this with green/orange

it would always do this towards the end of l4d2 scrims esp if i left my game on

The problem was the blue effect in weird places. Pretty sure Lights got it sorted out.

Personally I think it looks pretty cool
