Hey I don't know if you guys can help but here goes:
So yesterday I was on my computer and everything was fine. I had to leave in a few so I put my computer to sleep. When I came back my computer booted up but my internet was not working, it had it listed as "unidentified network". I tried everything reseting my modem, updating drivers moving things around turning on and off my network card but it still wouldn't work. I use a powerline adapter and thought that maybe my room's outlet was bad so I moved back to my old spot but it still didn't work.
So I ask if you guys have any insite to my problem I can't use my main computer anymore because it wont connect.

I've had issues in the past with sleep mode and network cards. The only fix I could find is (if this is a desktop) to remove the physical network card and plug it back in. If this is a laptop then I'm not really sure.
In the future though try to avoid sleep mode because it used to mess with my network card as well. I found that locking the computer and turning off the monitor works fine unless its a long period of time

Uninstall AV software
Run command prompt as administrator and type in
netsh winsock reset catalog (resets winsock entries)
netsh int ip reset reset.log hit (resets TCP/IP stack)
Try Safe mode with networking
Post results
