I’m Muerte, a shitty excuse of a TF2 player.

I had this bright idea of doing a rather…large…uncrating spree…1000 crates (500 Robo, 500 ‘normal’) to be exact, which will of course be livestreamed.

Yeah, some of you might be thinking ‘Right, this guy is pretty fucking stupid for wasting all that money on a video game’. The majority of the money invested in this incredibly stupid uncrate spree is ‘profit’ from trading TF2 items over a substantial period of time. I considered simply cashing out but thought, ‘Why not have a little bit of fun?’

Now, I done some ridiculously hard mathematical calculations using Pythagoras and some other fancy shit and figured out that uncrating 1000 crates would take just over 4 hours (assuming the average time for each uncrate is 15 seconds; 7 seconds to navigate to each key, hit use, navigate to the crate, hit uncrate; 5 seconds for the uncrating animation/annoying as fuck noise; 3 seconds to admire the inevitable strange I obtain from the uncrate and click ok). For this reason, alongside downright laziness in attempting to obtain the remaining keys required, I am splitting this uncrate spree into 2 segments of 500 crates. The first half will occur sometime this weekend, most likely on Saturday (20/07/2013) at around 2pm GMT (Yeah, that’s London time) – I will keep this post updated with the time I intend to begin uncrating. The second half? Well, probably in a few weeks or so…who knows.


Moving on…

I have decided to do a raffle too. The first unusual I uncrate (if I even get one…you better give me one Valve -___-), no matter what it is (yes, even if it is a Burning Team Captain) will be the item which gets raffled.

A $5 donation will give you 1 entry into the raffle, $10 will give you 3 entries and $20 will give you 7. If, for example, you choose to donate $50, you will receive 17 (7 + 7 + 3) entries into the raffle.
This raffle begins NOW. Yep, right now. You can start getting your entries in and myself alongside czar will begin compiling a list of donors. The raffle will close at whatever time I finish uncrating.

Failure to provide you Steam ID will simply make your donation anonymous and make it impossible to actually add you to the raffle. Entries made AFTER the raffle has occurred will be considered donations (with obviously no actual entry into the raffle…since it’s already happened…). The Indiegogo page will be up until Monday (22/07/2013). The target has been set at $500, which is the minimum Indigogo will allow. I seriously have no idea how much interest there will be, if any at all.

Alongside this, the second random ID to be pulled will receive my own Power Surge Ol’ Geezer. This may not be in my backpack when you check it – currently with someone else who is attempting to sell it on my behalf (yes I’m a lazy shit).

Money from the raffle will be donated to ghos7ayama. For those of you who are unaware of his current circumstances, please read this thread; http://teamfortress.tv/forum/thread/10185. ghos7 is currently going through some troubling times and I feel donating to him as opposed to a ‘general’ charity better suits my personal ideals. He is fully aware of what I am doing. For the more skeptical of you, there has been plenty of proof/evidence provided within that thread, highlighting the legitimacy of ghos7’s current circumstances. Proof of payment to ghos7 [b]will[/b] be provided upon receipt of moneys from Indiegogo.
