Wish someone could clear this up :\, record > h2h > rf or is it record > rf > h2h. if its the latter, why is the official league rule not being followed or not changed.

Maybe I can help you out Cabin. Head to head applies if the 5 teams that are tied had all played each other, and one team had beat the other 4, then they would go through. Head to Head is usually a tie breaker applied with 2 or 3 teams, once you get more teams involved it becomes difficult to apply that tie breaker. In pretty much all sporting events, if head to head can not be applied due to schedules being uneven, it is tossed out and you go to the next tie breaker. Rounds for is the next tie breaker.

A couple seasons ago in IM, 3 teams tied for the final 2 spots. Team A beat B but lost to C. B beat C lost to A. C beat A lost to B. So head to head was tossed out as it wasn't a clear sweep by any team, they had all beat each other, so it went to rounds for. Team A had the most rds won, so they went thru. B and C had tied Rounds for, so they played a 1 game playoff.
