Yeah, dunno unfortunately, sorry. Happens to me often for no particular reason.

It also gets into the mood where it works for me on some streams and not others, then works on the former stream(s), then doesn't work on the latter ones. WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME TWITCH?!

what about popping the chat out from firefox but then watching in chrome?

yeah the same thing happens to me, i'll open one stream and it will load in a second(rarely), other streams it just sits there or it times out, i made sure everything i have is updated, cleared cookies etc still nothing

chrome is already enough of a resource hog, running chrome and firefox at the same time would probably make the stream really choppy for most people

yeah i have done this but it gets a bit annoying after a while it's just more convenient for everything to be running in one window. i like the new layout on tf.tv for streams and i prefer it like that

I have to run incognito mode in firefox for the chat to work.

you could just use irc until twitch chat fixes itself.

I bet that's not the only reason you run Firefox in incognito mode. ;)

Maybe you didnt clear cookies from long enough? Same thing happened to me where clearing cookies from the past day didnt work but clearing them from the past week did.

can you make it so when I click a stream via the tf.TV sidebar it defaults to the chat rather than other streams? I already see the selections of streams on the tf.TV homepage so its a bit redundant. I'm more interested in the chat once I pick a stream.
