IIRC, they arent making silencers a different weapon, they're adding silencers to the game with the ost recent patch so that m4 and usp can FINALLY be silenced again (horray!)

Edit: as much as it pains me to say this, cs is dying. if this can bring in new players or make more money for valve to become interested in cs again then im all for it but i predict this is going to look terrible and make me want to play 1.6 again. im truly hoping it doesnt however.
