Hey everyone, I've looked everywhere for an explanation, I've tried to download the map to get better with aiming and I've followed multiple walkthroughs on how to download it and where to put it, but none of them have seemed to have worked for me, this is my last hope to get some sort of answer to if i can even ever get tr_walkway_rc2 on my system, as multiple so called "easy to do things" such as sprays and ding sounds haven't even worked.
Any help would be great and once again, Thanks.

Could you be more specific? Is the map not showing up as available in game? does it not load? do you get an error message?
What worked for me was to try and play it online and auto download the map from the server. I then started my own server and no problems.
It wont show up in the map list, and when I type in the console "map tr_walkway_rc2" it says it isn't found in the files but it is there, I've also tried connecting to servers with the map and seeing if that works and it doesn't.
Since Steampipe you have to put maps in either custom/userstuff/maps or download/maps. Userstuff can be named however you want though. Same for all other custom stuff, hitsound goes in custom/userstuff/sound/ui for example. Treat userstuff like your tf folder previously.
I put it in C:/PF(x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/team fortress 2/tf/maps
Cammy-I put it in C:/PF(x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/team fortress 2/tf/maps
Try placing it in \Team Fortress 2\tf\download\maps

Yep, I've extracted it to desktop, extracted it to the exact folder place everything I've tried hasn't worked.
I like what that one guy said, try joining an online game playing that map and it will automatically download where it needs to go.
regardless of where the map is installed...
../tf/custom/[name]/maps
../tf/maps
../tf/download/maps
just have one copy somewhere.
type into console (go to options>Keybord>advanced>Enable dev console)
map tr_walkway_rc2
... as multiple so called "easy to do things" such as sprays and ding sounds haven't even worked.

It's not about taking credit, it's about helping people who don't wanna be helped. They ask something and don't even read the responses. It's just rude and ignorant. Sorry for pointing that out.
