After seeing how unbelievably boss the iM crew were at i49, I'd like to see some AUTF2 coverage. I understand there's usually an interesting game going on in Americaland, but I think seeing AU games would be nice for times when the only stuff going on is Epsi v. squishy team or the b4nny team v. low invite.

maybe if tf.tv was to hook up with GreaverTV because i've been watching his content for quite a while and he's a great caster.

http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcKpBHzk_dEEhD-apSvW-jQ channel link, he's got some great iM casts aswell as some other games.

I also agree some AUS/NZ would be awesome, but what are we talking about in terms of time difference? Any live coverage would virtually be unwatchable (at least in North America). Would casting from STV demos be possible?

I've done some Highlander. The scene is definitely still developing, and the lack of sub-divisions within UGC make it difficult to pair up teams completely evenly, but there are some really strong HL teams and players.

most Australian officials happen at around 6 am US central time (noon in england). If one were to actually try and start up an aussie sector you'd probably want to have at least the cameraman be from there since 200 ping stv projectiles tend to look weird sometimes, couple that with the fact that australian internet is garbage and has awful caps and it gets a bit hard.

greaver had a lot of random people cast with him, but he was the only one who really took any initiative to do it. There have been a lot of random casts done by players from the community but all of them were just one time things afaik (and the ones I've seen were all kinda boring)

I believe that AU/NZ time would be in the morning for EU, in the same way that EU casts are in the morning for NA.

We'd have more casters but the internet in Aus/NZ is pretty shitty. I could cast if I had a better PC though.

I think the time difference for most of Australia is +14 hours from EST, which would mean that a livecasted Australian game at 23:00 Australian time (which I think for aussie gameplay would be a really late game) would be seen at 13:00 in the Eastern U.S. So I suppose what that would imply is that an American live caster/American viewership is out of the question, Europe probably the same story by a lesser margin. I personally would be glad to see Australian coverage via STV.

I'll keep at eye on this thread- if there's enough interest, Shifta and me could possibly cast some stvs and put them up on my youtube channel or something. It could be a nice addition to the POVs and demo reviews that are already up.

Live streaming would, IMO, be pointless. Not enough of an audience locally and it's at inconvenient times internationally. The only viable way of casting is just how Sal does it, ie, recording the STV and talking over it and then uploading it to YT.
