Great episode guys!
For the record. In ref to about 17 mins, TF.TV was mentioned during the build up to the grand final, it was mentioned a few times in the casts (at least by myself, and Sal might have shouted it a few times), and it featured on a poster I made which was dotted around our stage (back of the casting monitors) etc...
Regardless of any casting / streaming rivalry between the two organisations, myself and the rest of the VanillaTV crew realise the importance of the Teamfortress.tv website for the community. It's hands down the best centralised hub the game has ever had and it has single-handedly united the largest competitive TF2 scenes making events like i46 and i49 even possible. Us promoting it benefits everyone in the scene, including us.
Could have probably promoted more but honestly some of us (maybe just me) do feel a little bitter at a couple of the TF.TV's EU staff's attempts to shun us out of the picture at this LAN (instead of trying to work together) so it's not surprising the TF.TV logo wasn't everywhere on our production. Most of the TF.TV crew are awesome, but when those guys few grow up, our organisations will have a healthier rivalry that is far more positive than negative. The good news is, I feel our organisations are working much better together nowadays and I can only see this improving in the future.
