TF2 Won't Launch

After this update I have not been able to launch TF2 at all. Gets to loading screen then crashes. No "This app has stopped responding" or Steam messages, just crashes. Thought it was my hud, removed, nothing. Help? Anyone with the same problem?

clean your cd, blow the dust out of your cd drive too.

Nightmare scenario if I've ever heard one

Try reinstalling if all else fails though

And when you reinstall make sure you backup game files and use that because downloading tf2 again is a huge hassle unless you have the internet of gods
