Hiya, I'm trying to make some smooths and they simply wont save. I've heard of other poeple with this issue and was wondering if it's still persisting for others? I know for sure I'm doing everything correctly, I hit "ok" and my smooth window just closes, 0 delay, and doesnt save. I've tried hitting "save" before hand with still no luck.

I've tried renaming the demo to a shorter name, downloading other demos, deleting my old tf folder from before steam pipe, nothing works. I'm running on Win7, dont know what else may help.

heh. the problem is still persisting, surprised people care about this now i mean its not gonna get fixed any time soon so you might as well just get over it and learn sfm which is a shitty alternative but do you really have a choice.

edit: im sorry if this was too blunt

it's blunt but it's true. sfm is less of a pain in the ass anyway, at least once you work out the basics

Yeah, it's really abnoxious, but getting over it really is the only choice. It's even more obnoxious trying to learn how to make movies, since smoothing was an important part of it.

So reinstalling tf2, deleting pre-steampipe tf folder, and renaming the demo all dont work.

Literally the only thing I can think of at this point is that reinstalling all of steam would fix it, maybe it's not saving because it cant even find the directory?
