Kaneco how do we add on to the Player Bio pages? I don't really understand the instructions. :/

Basically on player pages you use one template which is:

For team pages for example you would use these templates:

Both templates have extensive documentation and should be fairly straight forward to use

Few important updates, finally got some time to get some stuff going.

Also fixed the site favicon which was long delayed and it was such a simple thing. We will also be moving to a bigger and better server soon so I hope that allows us to advance and achieve even better things. Haven't had the time to get many updates out but we are still going and stronger every day, I have been silently working on comp.tf and a few associated projects.

Comp.tf will be sponsoring another cup very soon, details yet to be announced and the cup format as well, but I just want to say I am very excited with what we have in store.

We haven't moved to a new server yet and that's still one of my biggest concerns, but I am trying to do it asap.

A particular big update to a wiki page, finished updating the badwater map page with tons of useful resources and guides, courtesy of this reddit thread

Also reworked the getting started page together with a few other editors and I am confident that now it can be used as a go-to link for all tf2 comp newbies, so if you know someone completely unnaware of how comp works but interested in getting started, send him to our Getting started page, it's categorized and organized in a way that it interlinks to all the important wiki pages and also has a few external guides on how to get started on competitive tf2.

Hey there, I had some free time the past few days, and I have been messing around on vegas

The objective is to start pumping some constant content to our youtube channel to promote both the channel and the wiki and to improve my editing skills, so I need some feedback on the idea and the clip/template.

Instead of syncing the music with the taunt, sync the drop with the actual shot.

My only suggestion would be try to dress up or do something with the design of the player namecard, it's a bit plain. Otherwise real nice!

pay no attention to the frag :D that was just a quick recording of some frag I had laying around to finish the clip, obviously with player submitted frags I would be more careful with the synching and music selection, looking more for feedback in the intro/playerbar and the general idea, not the frag itself.

Hi there, I have great news.

We have partnered with Hypernia.

This means we have moved to a bigger and better server able to accommodate the wiki to its full potential finally. I just finished setting it up and the wiki should be working as normal. Over the next few weeks I will be working on the main page and try to improve it's usability a bit.

We also have some other really exciting updates coming I can't talk about right now.

Thanks to CanFo, Warmaster from OzFortress/GamersUN and Lane from hypernia for guiding me through the whole process, which was a bit long but in the end was absolutely worth it!

The past week since the server move we have made a few relevant changes. I have updated the flag template so we should now support any country out there 230++ (no Seychelles tho, I used the sc code for scotland). You can view the updated version here.

Me and ducky have reworked the main page and ducky has been working on a few past nations cup pages.

We added the first official translator to the wiki. Sero will be our official russian translator from now on, media wiki doesn't really support an automatic system for translations like wikipedia so it will work with a suffix system (ex, russian mainpage will be MainPage/ru instead of MainPage). I don't expect the translated versions to be 100% done anytime soon, but at least the essential pages and mainpage would already be very good and allow for some non-english speaking users to use our site. If you are interested in becoming a translator as well, just add me on steam.

If you would like to contribute to the wiki our help page is a great way to start, read the editing guidelines and see what's missing in the to-do list and you're ready to go. Wiki markup is very easy so don't be afraid if you're not familiar with it, the WYSIWYG editor also makes most of the work so that should be no problem.

We also have possibly a cup and some other things in the works so keep tuned for more news.

Here's what we're working on atm:
Our bball cups highlight video is a work in progress and should be launched soon.
We have 2 public 24 slot servers (1 NA and 1 EU) to be launched soon.

Here are some stats from that weekend. We beat the record for concurrent viewers, I only have this screen atm, but we reached way over 200 during the weekend.

Our insomnia page was a success, sincere thank you to all of you who helped and contributed during the weekend, special thanks to Atlas for porting over the new sleek interactive brackets from liquipedia over to our wiki, they really do look amazing.

Insomnia series, as well as other lans are arguably the most exciting period for this project, we average somewhere around 300-400 visits a day and you can see the difference to the huge peaks around both insomnias and also some other smaller lans.

That page quickly reached the top 3 most viewed pages on the wiki in under a week. Comparing to last years' insomnia our site saw around a 20-30% increase in traffic during the same weekend, while that might not mean much since the site was on its early stages last year, it certainly shows tf2 is not dying. We peaked a little over 8k visits on saturday alone which is a record for us.

edit: contrary to my initial belief the downtime the site faced late friday was not related to the heavy traffic, our server was actually being the target of a ddos attack, not sure we were the main target but we suffered it on the worst possible time.

Today i've updated all the Premiership OZF 15 page, but regarding the Playoffs bracket i coudn't find the one that should fit. Could someone help me pointing me out the right form to use?

ffc (or corbt) is the right person to reach out to, he's probably the most knowledgable about those templates, I haven't delved much into those. And depending on the format it might be necessary to adapt a current template.
