d0m3ri believe the cow manglers charge shot can 1 shot a medic
Yea on the wiki it says it can do up to 151, but I think it would be extremely difficult to pull off.
In my opinion it would be way more difficult to pull off the charge shot where you need full ammo(can't jump) and can't move for 2 seconds compared to 1 shotting the med with the market gardner.

It could absolutely happen. But most of the time a soldier going for that shot is going to die and if they were to pull it off, then they probably could have killed the medic in a couple rockets anyways. Maybe I just haven't seen any good players using the charge shot.
The charge shot minicrits and lights people on fire. It also has infinite ammo. Come on now, let's be real. With the weapon balance update that reduced the clip size to four and increased it's damage to match stock, it's pretty much a straight upgrade. The less damage to sentries is a null point because engies are a pretty rare occurrence in 6s and the charge shot disables them.
It also reloads slower. May or may not make it balanced, but its definitely significant.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but to get 151 damage with a charge shot, a medic has to be touching the soldier to get the full ramp up. Why are we discussing weapons in the context of special ed players? This is a competitive forum.

Rounding a corner badlands house could happen, but it's essentially like equalizer taunting if that's the case so I'm not sure how I feel about the charge thing. Also it still does minicrit so one shotting medics aside, it still encourages stupid roamer hiding spot ambushes, even a 120 or 130 can one shot a scout on flank, and he can just charge them all day.
For me, the infinite ammo is the stupid part. That means spamming constantly on flank without ever having to leave, as well as being able to charge shot, and having no real downside (for roamers). I'm fine with it being banned.

It doesn't reload slower, its stats are the same as the stock in terms of damage/reload time/projectile speed. And to touch upon the "no being critboosted" stat, again it's not really a valid point because most of the time you're going to be kritzing your demo, and even if you do want to kritz a soldier for whatever reason, just make one of them not run it. And this assumes that you're actually going to be running kritz at all.
Stats are wrong, it still reloads slower, test it if you'd like, but it is an upgrade.
breloomit does not reload slower anymore
Stats weren't accurate from the beginning. The 5% reload penalty that refers to consecutive reload was removed. The initial reload penalty still exists.

Is the buff banner allowed or did you forget about it?

TurboliciousLike why is Persian Persuader banned? Is it cause the demo can charge more quickly and if they have that turn script then it's annoying as hell? Downside of not getting ammo is pretty significant imo. Loch-n-Load I can understand but not having rollers and only 2 shots sucks. Yes you can 1 shot scouts but how is that different than the DH? Still can't 1 shot a med.
I'm not sure you understand the concepts of aiming and reserve ammunition.

Also, the difference between the DH and the loch-n-load is that pipes don't have damage fall off.
hallelujah cozy camper
EDIT: also blam, bodyshots are still kills. who cares who gets mad.

the bans are because the invite teams voted them that way

MunchIf you seriously have to ask why the loch-n-load and persian persuader are banned, then I'm not sure you actually know what these weapons do.
...are you serious about the persian persuader? It honestly seems like you guys haven't even played with these weapons, at least for the last few months.

Because the demo deserves a medium health kit every time he gets a kill. It may only be practical for a last hold, but do you really want to push into a demo that has access to that many health pickups and resup?
#25 depends on how you define mid-range. It might not be 90, but I think most players will agree that a scout moving at max boost speed fighting a soldier with the bfb is a great situation for the scout.

See thats what im saying. It doesnt work that way anymore, and hasnt for at least the past year. A dropped weapon gives you 20 hp.

Yeah its closer to 40. But the bfb blaster has a ton of downsides people tend to just forget about.

OK well here's a better question. How do either of these unlocks positively affect the game and why should we use them if they were allowed? And don't say "to shake up the metagame" or "to make watching 6s more interesting." I want REAL reasons.
