I hear good things about Kingdom Hearts too, but never played it myself
when in doubt, go Yoshi's Island
maybe some Japanese dating game, if you're into that kind of thing. I "hear" Amagami's very good

playing snes beat-em-ups like tmnt and goof troop with a friend is really fun
on another note i never really got why banjo was so popular
