DrewAlso -nod3d9ex causes very frequent crash problems for me and a few other people. I wouldn't use it anymore at all.

Could this be causing my occasional Mumble crashes (which also freeze TF2 until I close Mumble)?

This issue started happening to me at the same time I started to use fake-fullscreen and Mumble overlay. Maybe, as Drew said, would be the -nod3d9ex launch option.
