defianceNo idea when I said that. And you are right, my statement was .00001% off. You can spec 5 other games besides the other games on your friends list. That is a lot!
Whoops, that's on me. So much bs in this thread I get confused. Also I'll be honest, a spectator feature is mostly for tournaments. I really don't think a whole lot of people open their game client going "WHELP TIME TO WATCH SOME VIDEO GAMES!" when they could just as easily watch a stream and get a lot more from it.
And I don't know, you're probably right, the numbers (like in TF2) are wrong, they must be doing nothing right.

Making LoL team: Looking for carry, support, jungler, mid. PM me on steam
This is such ridiculously good exposure for ESEA. When I was an admin we had an active subscription base of around 14k users. Over 130k people have voted in this poll. There have been multiple posts on both the league and sc2 subreddits lobbying to get their game into ESEA (even though sc2 already is), as well as pro players for LoL supporting it as well as Husky from sc2. I really hope ESEA can turn all this hype into something meaningful and not squander it like all the other opportunities they have had. Who knows this might even bring some exposure to TF2.
Also I understand most people dislike LoL but who cares, don't play the game and don't watch it. Riot is spending money on their game, and trying to grow competitive gaming which is something we should all appreciate. I'm sure none of us would complain if valve started pumping money into TF2 even though they haven't really supported competitive TF2.
marmadukeGRYLLSdota2 won't win, but i think that's a good thing because ESEA is pretty bad at handling any game that isn't cs/css/csgo. they gave a walkover win in the GRAND FINALS of sc2 a few seasons ago.
This is my thoughts entirely, DotA + LoL could (and already are) do way better.
