Only use strobed refresh rates when you use that program. When I had 144hz and several strobed resolutions my fps would get capped everytime I turned off 3d mode. So with 3d mode the cap was 60 and without it was 120. I'm not sure if it's an issue you'll encounter but having just strobed resolutions fixed it and now it works perfectly.
For the color profile, I started with some of the settings suggested here:

I just adjusted them afterwards to my liking. Good luck and enjoy :)

I have that monitor, honestly I never messed around with color profiles and lightboost, just left it default. Also didn't find any drivers for it because I thought it had a software to control that kind of stuff.
The only thing I did was change my GFX driver settings from 60Hz which comes by default to 120 Hz or else it would be the same as nothing. (I'm not using 144hz)
So tips are appreciated for me as well

when gaming, turn on the Black Equalizer. it basically increases the brightness to only the dark areas on the monitor.

Is there any way to get the Black Equalizer running on 120hz?
If your monitor was shipped with settings anything like mine was you'll probably want to turn it off the gaming setting in the monitor menu in order to turn the gamma down (you can't in any of the gaming modes for some reason afaik, and it's disgustingly high by default). This does mean you can't use black equaliser but I don't personally find it useful anyway. I set it to standard or normal or whatever and then:
Brightness: 42
Contrast: 50
Sharpness: 6
Gamma: Gamma 5
That's what I use for 144Hz. When using 120Hz LightBoost, it should only give you two changeable options: NVIDIA LightBoost and Black Equaliser or something. I would highly recommend lightboost, there's a link on the blurbusters site to a moving image and it really displays the amazing clarity of lightboost. However when trialling it try playing for a few hours and if your eyes hurt afterwards then you should probably stick to unstrobed.
By the way, recently when I've been trying to use strobelight.exe to turn on lightboost all that happens is the refresh rate changes from 144Hz to 120 (lightboost doesn't turn on). Can anyone help?

edit: Black Equalizer apparently only works with lightboost disabled
