Maybe the game mode would work but it would probably need a new design for the layout of the map. I don't think blending the current 5CP maps into this 3CP map style would work, and I have no idea what would be needed to make this work, soooo that already needs quite a lot of time to test it and work on it but if it would work it would probably still not be used all that much, and if it doesn't it's just time wasted over maybe making a new map/improving the current ones. 5CP can get stalemate-y(words are hard) but nothing you can really do about it, I think in one of the interviews of i46 with ruwin, he was asked what would you think would help make TF2 more fluid/fun to play/watch, and he said halve the uber times(which in all honestly would work quite well) there would potentially be twice as much action. But this thing would never happen unless someone make a plugin(valve will never change it, valve would probably drop TF2 all together if that would become a thing).

Boy, I am just getting off-topic like a madman..

In the end this 3CP thing would need time and effort, which could be worth it or not.

Not to sound rude but I don't see a point for a new game mode. CP and KOTH, seem just fine to me.

Personally, I would like to see just one game mode to be used overall for the growth of TF2. For example CSGO, everyone knows that the bomb plant/defuse is the main game mode for that, others are just made for fun and shenanigans. Last season in ETF2L there was CP, KOTH and CTF game modes. If a new player watches a stream one week, they see 'X team' play badlands, the next day/week day see the same team play turbine, and a week after that it's viaduct(this is just an example), it's like, wtf is the standard? I understand that it's more fun to play all these maps but the 6v6 format already is weird to understand at the beginning + these game modes.

I have a Zowie EC1 EVO on a Steelseries QCK Heavy pad(cloth). Same issue, seems like the sensor just can't handle fast flicks. It's kind of annoying, I bought the mouse as an upgrade to replace my Black Edition DA, seems like it was more of a downgrade, although it's more comfortable but still meh...

Really, even lower LOD ? I have an EC1 evo on a SS heavy pad. If it would be even lower, it would be pretty much unusable.

csgolounge, tf2outpost and dota2lounge. These are the main trading websites where these bots pick players or what ever, I think when you bump your trade the bot picks you out(every time I bump, its friend invite galore). Although there are some really random adds from time to time. If the profile is private or has a small steam level, maybe very few hours on games or not many friends, just block it.
