Considering that the 'swatting' article was fake as shit. Now to the real deal, serves that guy right that he beat a little boy to death just because(apparently, not sure haven't read any more about this) the kid didn't stop crying. And he called his mom and said 'I'm 16 y/o blonde, I will cry in front of the judge.. They will feel sorry for me, and let me go'... Get fucked.
Unbelievable, what some people do. 25 years is too little, to life please.
That's one interesting issue.. Maybe try to revert your drivers to use an older version?
Usually the SWAT(I hope) teams do their stuff correctly, who gives a shit if they are rude as long as no one get's physically hurt/shot/tasered/what ever. There might be a bomb somewhere, or some madman with a automatic rifle, nothing is known until the area has been cleared out. Best thing the SWAT team can say is like 'Sorry for this misunderstanding'. After they have finished with what ever they had to accomplish to clear the area.
The shit thing about this is, someone is going to get killed because of this prank. Maybe one of the officer sees a weapon and thinks he might attack, or has an itchy trigger finger. Like pet dogs might get shot because the dog might be barking and is in an aggressive stance, maybe other pets..
Personally, I feel like when these sort of threats come they should send out what ever team necessary in case of an actually emergency, and while that happens trace where the call came from.
PS. Not sure but I don't think just getting raided will stay in your criminal record, doesn't make sense if you were innocent but I have no idea how the US handles that.
smoboAbrissThey can't really call themselves a hacking group, they are paying $20 a month for a tool that anybody can use.that's less than i pay for my match server plus mumble, and it's this destructive?
edit: how much do you think it costs these sites to host? and it only took $20 to take them down for a while???
If multiple people use it at the same time and spam the websites like crazy, nothing much you can do as far as i'm aware but I don't really know anything about ddosing.
If I would ever decide to hack some big industry. I'm pretty sure I would ask more than just some name written on some dudes forehead..
God damn alcoholics, how was that Kalles kaviar?
BubbaraikuValves only idea for TF2 was a PUB/casual game, later added hats and the mann.co market only brings in a nice whooper of cash. As far as they care about competitive TF2, it ends with some shitty ingame medals... Really sad, in my opinion, TF2 as a game is very interesting and the people in this community > any other gaming community by a long fucking shot.
pretty sure thats because competitive TF2 supports like 5% of all things added in TF2. Every single weapon and gamemode is promptly rejected. TF2 was built to be randomness, and to have a competitive environment you need to eliminate randomness. Most devs. don't want to support games/gamemodes that drastically change the entire game.
That's true but as far as comp. TF2 goes, most of these random things have been eliminated, like most unlocks are banned(EU, not sure about NA). They could just take what the community has already, and add it officially to the game(ingame matchmaking system would be pretty amazing). Although that's a little counter-intuitive, considering valve wants every weapon to be used. But that just won't happen when they add new shit willy-nilly.
sparksybrush"getting nothing in return"
How would one change that? Is it even possible to elevate the status of comp. tf2 to DotA levels or sth? Maybe with more support from Valve?

I raise your termo with war.
Evil_MrMuffinzso... many... airshots *-*
That one map where yuki went absolutely mental on snakewater, that was unreal. When did this guy break out of the arkham asylum?
CHERRYT0mBumping into people whilst they're playing is stupid and rude.Hools in England lol, are you still in the fucking 70s?
Apart from that though you're all pretty much expecting to go to an english lan, everyone stays sober and no one shouts/goes a bit crazy. You're going to a lan in a country where not only are we famous for acting like hooligans during sporting events the main activity for people in their 20s is to drink.
Pick another lan in another country if you want to keep acting like idiots.
This is real life:

Are those real?
But in all seriousness, after reading through 3 pages of this. I'm disappointed by coleman, drunk or not, that was stupid. Glad seagull handled it like a champ.
