Hey guys, just a quick question. These 2 mousemats (qck and qck mass) are as far as I know the exact same except for thickness. The qck is something like 1 mm and mass is about 6. Does this matter at all in gaming? Is either of them more accurate or anything?
Maybe difference in which is more comfortable to use?
Yes I know there have been a lot of threads on this but can't find anything specifically about thickness so wondering what you guys think

The thicker one is probably more durable. Other than that, I guess it's just a comfort thing?
I had a qck mini (normal qck thickness but smaller than the mass) and now use a qck mass. In my experience the mass is less prone to wrinkling or getting moved by mouse movement, etc. and less affected by particles getting randomly stuck under the mousepad (admittedly kind of a small issue and one that's remedied easily anyway).
I really prefer the mass anyway, based on those factors, but I doubt you'll see a difference in performance.

had a thick regular sized qck, feels more comfortable than my qck+ but too small, the mass costs like 10

Thicker pads are nice, especially for LANs. A lot of the time the tables at LANs seem to have imperfections like bumps or chips in them and a thin pad will be a problem. A nice thick pad helps in those situations.
1mm is really thin. That's like a piece of paper! I like a nice thick mousepad, at least if we're talking about fabric ones. I have an xtrac ripper and it's great. Razer's goliathus series is good too.
The newer goliathus pads are pretty thin actually. The older ones are nice and thick.
