i recently decided soldier was boring and switched from about 5.1inches/360 with acceleration to about 9inches/360. i was wondering if anyone had any tips on getting used to such a large change
i raised my sens and noticed i miss quite often which is expected so to help out my muscle memory i made my xhair bigger as its easier to hit and enabled viewmodels (to help me aim) and i noticed my accuracy was much like before i changed my sens.
I then gradually decrease my xhair size as time pass by and now i have my original xhair size before i changed my sens and my aim is as it was before.
Took me roughly 4 weeks for my muscle memory to adapt.

Holyshiznoplay with it and youll get used to it
is it that easy...
What about wiping your memory so you dont know what your old sens felt like? would that be an easier solution?

Make it much more sensitive then you intend it to be for about 10 minutes then it will feel normal.
It's not even a big change. You basically halved your sensitivity. Sure, it will take a day or two to get used to the change where your flick shots will be mostly accurate, but it's not a huge undertaking.
Go play jump maps. That way you will learn the sens and you don't have to deal with getting 20-0 at mge.
Does anyone know how many % of the posts on this forum is about sensitivity?
