So my old pair died a few days ago and now I'm looking for a new one. These will NOT be for gaming, but instead for listening to music.
I am looking for in-ear headphones that have these qualities:
-Good bass, I personally am a fan of that.
-Somewhat on the cheap side, so $100 or less. If it's good quality, I won't worry too much about price. EDIT: Actually cutting it down to $50 or less, it seems like good headphones still exist even at this range.
-Comfortable
-Durable, I don't want the pair dying in a few months.
-Good sound quality

I've never personally used expensive in-ears, but I heard that Sennheiser makes some pretty nice stuff.

HiFiMan RE-400 or Shure SE215-K are good buys for a 100 dollar budget.

Don't have much knowledge about in hear headphones but the sennheisers closed headphones I have (HD 280 Pro) are the best I have ever had.

I like using the wirecutter cause they review a ton of headphones and are pretty thorough in their work. They seem to suggest the Sony XBA-C10IP model this time. Last time (probably within the last 2 months) they suggested the Velodyne vPulse model so you might wanna check that out.
I have a pair of Shure SE-215Ks whose sound quality is pretty good, soundstage is (as expected) not as good as full sized over the ear headphones. The big plus for this pair is that they pretty much have earplugs with holes in them for sound so you get really good isolation. Unfortunately, they're kind of uncomfortable for periods more than 1-2 hours and I find myself having to take a break after that.
I also had a pair of Klipsch S4s which I liked a lot; they're really cheap now (look around at the S4i/S4a variations because those tend to change price frequently) and sound pretty good but didn't sound as full as the SE215Ks - of course, this is pretty subjective...

What you pay for is what you get. I recommend sticking with your budget, there are always better, more expensive headphones unless you buy one of those 1000$ custom-fit in-ears (they're about as good as it can get).
For bass heavy I'd say Shure SE215 or DUNU Hephaes. Because of the strong bass they are both a bit weak on the highs.

Anything from Shure or Westone are pretty rock solid. For your price range, if you are patient enough you could probably get a pair of Westone UM1's off ebay for around 60 bucks. They are probably the best balanced single driver earbuds you can get. Shure 215's are their equivalent single driver pair, but it will be hard to get those for 50 bucks unless you buy used (obviously buy new tips). They are more bass heavy if that is really what you are into. Also, everything in the Shure line now comes with removable/replaceable wires so that's a very nice feature.
I use to do studio recording work on the side when i was younger, I've used tons of IEM's, buds, and Custom molds...and just about anything Westone made sounded incredible to me. The UM1's would be my suggestion.

I'm no audiophile but I bought some earphones from Wicked which were shit and broke within the month. I decided I wasn't going to waste anymore money on more expensive earphones so I bought these cheap Sony ones to listen with while I workout and they were better than the others ones that I had bought lol.

I live in Canada so I got mine from The Source and there was a $3 warranty to lasts 3 years and gave me 2 replacements. Nothing bad to say about them for $15.
