I get from 120-160FPS with max frames, dx:8.1, capped at 121fps with 60hz monitor. Is there a point to getting a 120hz monitor if I get that low FPS? If so what? If not any ways to increase frames?
Low FPS should I still get a 120hz monitor?

You only need 120 fps to use the 120 hz.
If you drop down to like 80 fps it should still look better than on a 60 hz monitor.
I'd only buy it if you can maintain stable 120 fps though.

despite what people think, i'd say you do not need 240 frames or whatever // double your hz of frames to benefit from 120hz. (120fps is all that is needed)

I can only maintain ~65 FPS in a bad case, but my 75 hz monitor is so much better for TF2 than my 60 hz that it's ridiculous, even when I dip below 60.
