Anyone in the Seattle area going to the Intel InfernaLAN this weekend? They're having a TF2 tournament on Friday.

They're having TF2 "contests".
Not sure what that means, maybe they could have a mini-MGE tournaments, but it doesn't sound like a true TF2 tournament.

Yeah I just noticed they changed the status of the tf2 event to "random contests" but it was set to "5v5 tournament" a couple days ago.

Last one I went to was prop hunt/degroot keep contests.
I went to the last infernalan and was upset when I found out they didn't have a tf2 tournament (which is what people were saying they were doing). As their website says, they're doing tf2 contests which are weak mini-games they announce during tf2 pubs, not structured comp. play. I got a trophy for capturing the intelligence as a heavy on 2fort. Needless to say, it was disappointing. At least I got a cool plastic trophy out of it.
