Steam crashing

When i play games it sometimes crashes and says this:
steam client bootstrapper (buildbot_winslave04 _ steam & steam_rel_client_win32@winslave04)

I googled it but nobody knew solution, HALP

Try reinstalling steam, it looks like the wrong version of the bootstrapper is installed.

I have to reinstall every game and that will take 2 weeks, cant i remove bootstrapper and reinstall that or something?

Steam > Backup and Restore Games
Reinstall

Alternatively it may be possible to simply copy game files yourself to a new directory then copy them back. I've had mixed success with that in the past (and never tried the above solution, so I don't know whether it works well).

Edit: This is assuming you have to reinstall, I don't know if that's the case.
