So it's on sale for 7.49$ right now... I was wondering: How good is it? My brother told me it was pretty good but I'd like to hear some more opinions before buying it.
I'm not usually into stealth games but the atmosphere is really good and you have a ton of cool weapons to brutally murder people with. I got it from a steam sale earlier in the year and it was probably one of my favorite single player games in recent memory.
I only played like the first 'chapter' or whatever you call it, but the mechanics were pretty damn solid and it was a lot of fun. I don't really have a reason that I stopped playing, but if the story isn't complete shit I'd say it's worth it.
I thought it was pretty good. It's like an 8~ hour game, depending on how you want to play it. Most common paths are trying to sneak around everything, or killing everything. Re-looking at the game there's a lot of ways to get around, and I think it's a good buy for the price.
it's a lot of fun, if it was on sale for 20$ I'd still recommend it.
I enjoyed it, it's similar to Deus Ex where a guns blazing playthrough is definitely a lot less enjoyable than a stealth playthrough, but the gameplay is really fun, there's a lot of options for level strategies, the controls are tight and it's a really pretty game too
Could have been longer, though, mind you I haven't actually played the DLC yet

Decent game, not game-of-the-year material but it certainly has its own charm. Good game to pick up on sale.
It's decent, the story is really mediocre though so I never bothered finishing the game.
Story is pretty bad and it has some very abusable mechanics that make the game very easy (teleporting and seeing through walls with basically no repercussions). The setting is very cool though and the art style is pretty. Too bad the game incentivizes you to be in constant looking-through-walls vision.
I very much enjoyed it. I'd say the story is alright but it's more of a delivery method for the world that you are in, which was designed fantastically lore wise and art wise. Victor Antonov, the guy who did HL2 art was the art director here, defiantly see the style coming through.
Gameplay is fantastic and fun, but yes, stick to stealth, you will have more fun. I did both lethal and nonlethal, both are defiantly fun, but I felt like the non lethal solutions to the assassinations were a bit too easy, and if you do low chaos the last level seems... bland. Do both though.
DLC was fantastic for the first one and first half of the second dlc, but it really falls off at the end. Still defiantly worth playing both.
