every time i launch tf2, it acts like i've never played the game before. offers the tutorial, sets my fov to 75, turns auto-reload off, all that. it happens every time i launch tf2, and typing exec autoexec.cfg in console doesn't do anything. it says chris' max frames was loaded, however nothing changes.
this started when i had my match last night, hasn't ever done this before. i've tried to reinstall the cfg and the launch options and that hasn't done it.

I've had something similar, one day when TF2 launched it had forgotten all my settings, although not quite to that extent, e.g. I still had my custom HUD, but the changes I'd made to it were gone and my launch options had disappeared. Doesn't happen every time I launch though.

this thread has like 90 solutions in it maybe on will work?
Can try navigating to /tf/cfg and deleting that stuff. In my experience sometimes tf2 will look in that folder first and override your autoexec or any other custom cfg files which are in the right spot
