How do i disable the green letters that come up when I pickup a health pack, i know it seems like a minor thing but it bothers me for some reason. If you do get the time to help then thanks
chiveFor some reason, the 7z file is just a text document for me. Do you know how to solve this?
No, try using WinRAR or 7-Zip. You can also try this alternative download link (will become outdated when I upload a new version).

Uhm ok, I never thought anybody could be bothered by this. Go into resource/ui/hudhealthaccount.res and set the delta_lifetime value to "0".
On a general note, the sum of downloads (~2500 total so far) keeps rising slowly but steadily. There haven't been many comments or questions in the support threads lately so I'll assume everything works as it should. Thanks for the support!

No reason to quote the whole block, lol. Thanks for the info, will take a look at it in the long term.
Has anyone added the "highest killstreak" line to the winpanel? I'm probably going to look into doing it myself, just wondering if anyone else has already
I know you aren't talking to me specifically but personally I can say that I'm not interested in including the "highest killstreak" in the winpanel as it's not really necessary and the current winpanel still works without it. So it's up to you or someone else if you want it.
how come the health and killstreak font is different from the ammo font?
in case anyone is interested, here's the winpanel with killstreak row:

I don't see why it wouldn't work, but I don't really know much about hud stuff

Thanks for reporting, I didn't know about this. Working on it, I have to provide an alternative clientscheme.res for using the oldschool font.

I will put this in the next version and credit you in the changelog, is that OK for you?

Update
Started versioning: 3.0 is the current version.
* If you prefer the oldschool surface font with unproportional numerals, download the surface_oldschool package you'll find in the readme section of the start post and follow the instruction.
* Added "highest killstreak" to the winpanel, credit goes to erkston!
* Added icons for active Soldier banners below the health.
* Fixed positioning of the marked for death and milk icon when using numerical HP.
* Made ammo and numerical HP shadows slightly thicker.
* Moved the Chargin' Targe/Splendid Screen charge meter lower and added a charge label.
For people who have their own modifications, I will list the files that were changed since December, not only in this update: basechat.res, clientscheme.res, disguisestatuspanel.res, hudammoweapons.res, hudcurrencyaccount.res, huddamageaccount.res, huddamageaccount_nolast.res, huddamageaccount_numeric.res, huddemomanpipes.res, huditemeffectmeter_heavy.res, huditemeffectmeter_killstreak.res, hudlayout.res, hudmannvsmachinestatus.res, hudobjectivetimepanel.res, hudplayerclass.res, hudplayerhealth.res, hudplayerhealth_numeric.res, mvminworldcurrency.res, winpanel.res

Post #49 reported that too and I have no idea why that is. It works fine for me with !log and !logs (logs.tf plugins). Maybe .ss functions differently but I can't test it because almost nobody uses SizzlingStats here in Europe. Can you add me and when we're both online you get me on a server where I can test it?
do you know why when I use the oldschool font, the targetid health is much smaller than if I used a earlier version of broeselhud (before the font change)? and if so, how would I change it to make it bigger?
Please re-download the surface_oldschool package. The link is in the readme section of the start post. I included the file that sets the old TargetID health size and position.
if I want to add the killstreak part of the end round scoreboard to my brosel hud, Im assuming I should just copy and paste it into my winpanel.res?
Just download broeselhud_blue 3.0 and put the winpanel.res file into your resource/ui folder.

Had to remove the "attriblabel" section from the files that contained it.
If you use this version the ping column should be visible, unless you have a low resolution, in which case I have to refer you to the readme section in the start post.

How do I change the font of the killstreak that pops up on the hud, I tried editing hudkillstreaknotice.res and got this Pastebin but it still uses the shitty default tf2 hud font.

No idea. You have the right file. I tested it and can't change the font either.
How do I make the background of the ammo the same size as the background of the health?

open HudAmmoWeapons.res located in resourceui and find ammoinclipshadow and reduce the width value. do the same for AmmoNoClip aswell.

Put cl_hud_playerclass_use_playermodel "0" in your config or console.
The ammo shadow does indeed look thicker, it's not intended like that though. Maybe it's a resolution thing, I will take a look at it. Until then follow Gunblade's response. To be precise, you need to go into hudammoweapons.res and reduce the tall/width values by 1 in these sections: "AmmoInClipShadow", "AmmoInReserveShadow", "AmmoNoClipShadow".

hey blue, I was wondering if you'd be able to link this old feature from the broeselhud_blue?
http://i.imgur.com/59gVhXj.jpg
see the 3D image? I actually prefered that size and that location of it, right next to the health, and next to the killstreak counter.
Is it possible you would link me a old HudPlayerClass.res file from older releases or something? cause I'm not a fan of how it's smaller right now. heh.

You can increase the size of the 3D avatar easily: Go into resource/ui/hudplayerclass.res, find "classmodelpanel" and change the tall value. Then set wide to half of your tall value and ypos to rtallvalue (tall=150, wide=75, ypos=r150 for example) so the image is aligned at the bottom of the screen.
I wouldn't recommend Valve's killstreak counter there because it interferes with the spy's disguisestatuspanel. Also it bugs with minmode 1.
