does anyone know how to fix the green text on your scoreboard?
ShankyThis is a problem related to using a low texture quality. Something related to how textures are wrapped around models or how the edges of textures become jagged at lower quality settings. This problem becomes even worse if you use the LOD bias hack. You should also notice problems with 'cuts' on the rock props around Badwater.
TL;DR: Use a higher texture quality setting or get used to it.
alright i'll just get used to it then, thanks for the info
hello, when I play on dx9 my scouts hands and arms have a cut going through it. does anyone know a fix for it? this doesn't happen to me on dx8.
JarateKingI just found out about the update 30 minutes ago.
Here's a fix ;)For the first step where you paste a bit into hudanimations_tf.txt, paste this instead.event ScopeRemoval { Animate HudScope Position "9999 9999" Linear 0.0 0.0 Animate HudScope Position "9999 9999" Linear 0.0 100.0 RunEvent ScopeRemovalLoop 0.1 } event ScopeRemovalLoop { RunEvent ScopeRemoval 0.1 }
Step 3 with the script in autoexec is now pointless, since because of timings, running the animation on startup does nothing and you need to hit someone once.
Here's to the hopes that valve fixes it right by disconnecting it from the hud and reloading the material upon joining a server, instead of just constantly trying to put it back in the same position whenever an animation isn't currently moving it (idk why).
does this only work if you hit someone? whenever I die or the round restarts, the scope comes back but if I do damage to somebody then it gets removed again.
I have this problem where when I'm in mumble, I can't use the in-game microphone but when I'm not in mumble, I can use the in-game mic just fine. Does anyone know a fix/solution to this problem? Thanks.
cool guy, really chill and pretty good at all classes. definitely could play high open
zookeyNyah_NyahHello,
So when I try to use the default crosshair6 in tf2 (the hollow plus), and I resize it to something smaller, it becomes really hard to see, I tried using "cl_crosshairalpha 0" but it's still hard to see.
I have a 1366x768 monitor (laptop of course) and am forced to play tf2 on low setting (I even have a fps boosting config thing).
surely you should be using cl_crosshairalpha 255 not 0.
i don't think cl_crosshairalpha does anything to the crosshair unless they changed it
he's pretty decent and mentored me like kinda
