Ignore this.
Are the words in the bottom left corner suppose to show your alias at the time or is it just noodo engraved onto the hud?

I meant to put that in as a watermark for any recording I was going to do (never got around to it), just forgot to remove it I guess. Next update it should be gone assuming I don't forget again.

way easier just to throw a watermark in when you edit

What?
You can just put it in something that is always there, like hudplayerclass or hudplayerhealth. Even an "engraved" can be put in with a .vtf file.

too cluttered and honestly i cant see any theme going for this hud. nice try though but you havent even started from scratch. again better off as a hud mod.

I find it a little hard to see how a hud made mostly with the default files with some sections of 4 other huds added in classifies it as a hud mod, but I digress. Partway through making this version I got better plans for how to do most things and keep things consistent, and that's what I'm doing now.
Jninumbers all over the screen
You can never have enough.

I'm going to try to be as objective as possible here.
With the main menu, I can see what you're trying to do here but my god nobody needs this amount of bells and whistles. It all just adds up to a really cluttered, uneven, and aesthetically poor main menu. You should try to make just a plain version and make the other version a customization option.
With the actual HUD: the mix of lime green, red shadows, random boldface font, and some pretty bad sizing makes everything look really cluttered. (especially the damage numbers; those are a lot bigger than they really need to be). You should also try to keep your heal/damage colors consistent between your main hud and your spectator/targetid, otherwise it just gets confusing (especially for casters).
Also, that killfeed is in a really awkward position (and apparently it changes position from place to place??). I also don't get the random teamcolored line underneath the targetid--it just doesn't look good right next to each other (plus I don't think people need to be told what team they're on when looking at someone else).
In some places you haven't even taken the Cerbetica font from rayshud off yet--you should fix that (also remove the random division lines from the scoreboard).
I understand you say you aren't an aesthetics guy but a hud is about 90% aesthetics. If you wanted to just make a bells-and-whistles main menu, just keep it as a hud mod.
Just my two cents.
(note: the disparity between comp-focused huds and casual huds is really large, if you're not really focusing on making a competitive hud take everything I say with a grain of salt)

Thank you kindly for actually telling me what I could work on rather than "lol". I'll try to fix all that stuff up.

Gonna follow along with flatline here. I can tell you've put a decent amount of effort into this HUD, but have you ever heard the expression "less is more?" There is really no reason to have your health and ammo displayed in two different areas. It just makes it more cluttered than it needs to be. For a HUD to be easy to use, it needs to be simple and consistent. I would focus more on removing all of the unnecessary elements in the HUD, and making it look more consistent all the way through before you think about adding anything new. If you need any help feel free to add me on Steam, I'm typically pretty good about getting back to people.
