Hey, I recently created a new Ultiduo map called Ultiduo_seclusion. It's current state of development is b2 and I plan to continue on it as long I can.

i really enjoy the look of this map, but due to the lack of other exits, it is so easily spawn campable, like stand on the fence, med healing you on the other side, and you can just delay them until A) you have uber or B) you just gained enough time for an easy round win.
I think this could easily be fixed with another spawn connecting to the regular one, ( and maybe making it so the other team can't see you through the glass knowing which way you go?) other than that it's a really well put together map, looking forward for other updates.

3. Fix ledge above one of the spawns on which you can stand
4. Try to make it more symmetrical so it's fair for both teams :D
5. Fix sliding door (you can get stuck there, or get elevated by it)
6. Visual stuff (not extremely important)
- Very repetitive textures on the sides
- Spawn is not a "actual" room with like a floor and stuff
- Maybe some cool details (something/someone watching from the top of the canyon?)
7. Hidden room only accessable with noclip with strange things and the creator credits...idk

I know you told me that you are gonna rebuild this map completely, I just wanted to give you these things as reminder ^-^

I played it last night, and it is huge and flat. Pretty hard to take back, but not impossible. Also the ability to super jump out of the water is pretty dumb imo.

There were missing textures too, but I didn't think to take a screen shot. The window is bright pink, and the water is a bit pinkish as well.

We had fun on it though, variety is a nice thing to have when ultiduoing.

It's a problem with the cubemapping
Type in mat_specular 0 into console.

Just released a new version of the map, you can dl it here.

I rebuilt the map from the ground, fixed the spawns and made the ground less bumpy, no water and some new textures.

I like the mid. The spawn is kind of weird. Not a fan of how you can just stand on top of the fence/spawn building. Maybe making it so you can't see which spawn exit the other team uses would be better.

We played this and didn't really like it, the point is a really advantageous position to hold, and if one team gets on it then they can just bully the others constantly without really having to commit to anything, basically all of the map is low ground apart from the point and this makes game play very slow and boring as it just descends into one team trying to avoid spam and unable to do anything unless they go huge. I don't like how you can just walk your soldier and medic onto the best position in the game and cap at the same time. On baloo you have to jump and leave the medic behind to get to the best spot and on the original ultiduo map you have to drop into a pit just to cap.

The fact that both spawn exits are right next to each other and there isn't one on the high ground makes this really defender friendly as you can be hit for a lot as soon as you step out the door straight from the point, I think adding some areas higher than the point would definitely help this map play a lot nicer.
The blue crate has some weird clipping error at the base of it, also fix the textures on the floor pls
