Greetings everyone!
Recently i got a ducky shine 3 MX cherry red switches tenkeyless (http://us.ncix.com/products/?sku=90665&vpn=DK9087S3-RUSALAAP1&manufacture=Ducky), and they came with red WASD keycaps. Ive decided to put them on and then i feel like the keys are a bit higher than the rest of the other casual keys. I am not an expert on keyboards but I was just wondering if i placed them correctly, should they exactly be at the same height like the other keys, I mean would appreciate some help if you have experience with a little bit of customizing your keyboard.

just push down on them a bit harder. same happened for me until i realized i just had to press them down lol

You can try taking off the keys adjacent to it on the same row and comparing the heights. My red wasd keys with my K70 are physically taller than the other keys on that row for example.

hey sal. i got my red cherry ds3 a while ago and i tried putting on the red wasd caps as well but they didn't match up with the rest of the keys. I replaced my spacebar with the plain one they gave us and that works just fine, but im afraid to say that the wasd caps are probably a manufacturing error on their part since it happened to us both.

Its maybe supposed to be like that? How much higher are the wasd keycaps over the rest?

The stock keycaps on the ducky shine 3 are thin, lasered/filled ABS, and might not be a standard profile, I'd reccomend some cheap doubleshot keycaps http://www.keypop.net/category/keyboard-sets
The feel of the keycaps and of typing/gaming will be better, and the legends won't wear off.

Edit: Apparently others liked them too. I just realized they are sold out. RIP

Yeah I get what you mean. Its like when i put on the original keycaps back, they adjust easily than the red ones. But still everything is cool now. Thanks bud :>
