I still need help. Thank you Sheo for trying, but it might not be my internet messing my game up.
The main part is, I've tried fixing my router and modem, and it's still the same. It might be my computer so if anyone has an idea why it might be my computer, please post something below.

So, just a few weeks ago, I've noticed I have been getting some lag spikes for 10 minutes every week. The next week, it started going more severe and 15 minutes every day. Now whenever I go on a server, my lag is 100 or below but the lag is so bad, TF2 is nearly unplayable. I've tried restarting my computer, changing my internet settings but everything is the same.

I'm on rogers and a similar thing was happening to me. It was a modem problem, if you rent one of their 2 in 1 router/modem combo, try taking it to a local rogers store and get it swapped for free.

it happened to me because of how much bandwidth my family was using up
by lag do you mean timing out every 20-30 seconds for like 5 seconds? i had the same issue for about a month, cant be fixed without an upgrade or less people using internet
try out the speed test with tf2 running in a server

Relax dude, what is happening to you is what was happening to me, I was getting major lag and rubber banding despite my connection being normal. Ask your Mom or someone to exchange the router.
