I wonder if England will combine Liverpool/Southampton's energetic pressing in the midfield with a Cahill + Terry (haha as if Woy will ever recall him) partnership in the back, as well as a pacey frontline with Sturridge, Sterling, and the Ox. Lallana has to start too, his creative flair is something that England has lacked for a long time now.
Too bad Woy will probably play a slow-paced dreadful longball game.

The most vivid World Cup memory I have is 2002 groups; we were living in Senegal at the time and they beat France in the opening game of the cup 1-0. Being an ex-French colony the entire country went fucking insane and El Hadji Diouf is literally a national hero to this day
(in retrospect, since they were playing without Zidane, France was certainly not at full strength but it was incredible nonetheless)

Manuel Neuer is the best goalie in their group, and will continue to shine all tournament.
Germany will win. Özil has changed his attitude and stands up more straight now. (You'd be surprised how much of issue his posture and physical composure was.)

Honestly I don't expect Brazil to get past the 1st round outside of the group. And I think for this match, Croatia can take something from this.

Belgium can make a nice little run this WC. I don't see them falling before the semifinals. They have a young and dangerous little team.
USA is kind of drawing dead here. If they can sneak 2nd - which is VERY possible - they'll likely draw a R16 fixture against Belgium - who are a nightmare of a matchup.
