EDIT: Fixed
Yo guys,
I just bought a 32 inch TV to use as a second monitor next to my main computer monitor. However, when I use an HDMI to HDMI cable to connect the computer to the TV, the TV gives me a "NO VIDEO" message, and my Nvidia Control Panel doesn't pick up that there's another monitor connected.
So I went out and bought a DVI to HDMI adapter and plugged the HDMI into that, still no connection. I don't think it's a problem with the TV. I plugged the HDMI cable into my laptop and my laptop screen popped up instantly.
Things I've tried:
- Updating my video driver
- Reinstalling my video driver
- Using the Nvidia control panel tool that looks specifically for TVs that it couldn't detect.
Any suggestions? Is this a graphics card problem? Is the only solution to buy a new video card?
