i got msged by someoen on my friendslist telling me they needed a standin for a tournament in dota

they were talking using mannerisms that made me know it was not the person instantly but thought it might be a roommate so I partook anyways. I join the private lobby and it's full with 9 players. I join the 10th slot and notice @Ayesee is there to broadcast the game and they link me a fake joindota website and tell me 'its the revenge tournament' and that standins need to register


all in all this experience was amazing. the idea that people can come together and orchestrate such an event. this is probably harder than wow raiding good for them im sure they are building teamwork through these exercises and will become better friends
