For just one minute, suspend your bias and predisposed notions, and imagine a situation where your teammate wished that your team would lose, and that he wanted nothing to do with you in a lan environment. On top of all this? When confronted about this pastebin, Ninjanick claimed that his intentions were 'only to send it to TheFragile.'
how could anyone EVER be upset about getting cut?
like really, why could he possibly be unhappy about that?

Nick is not at all 100% innocent on this one, but it's pretty shitty to try to put all the blame on him for being angry that no one on the team bothered to tell him that his spot on the team was only until LAN. If this was a group decision made before the start of the season, then ANYONE ON THE TEAM could have brought it up, which would have prevented a lot of confusion and hurt feelings. You're all fucking adults, you should have the common sense to understand that if you don't explain to someone that their spot on the team is only temporary and then have them find out from someone else that you were planning to cut them after LAN they're going to be pissed off at you. Jesus Christ people, it literally would have taken 5 minutes to explain it to him, but you didn't bother to do that and now you're sitting here going "wow what an asshole being mad at us for not making our intentions clear from the start".

Cutting someone for lan to WIN (tyrone) because you're not confident vs. cutting someone for lan who shit talks your entire team behind your back to members of the opposing team while wishing the team loses lan and all subsequent tournaments and feigning acceptance of the apology given are two entirely different things, and you're a dipshit if you don't see that, breloom.

Yeah but weren't they gonna take him to LAN?
In addition, not only were they going to take him to LAN. Nick being cut was already planned from the beginning and not a spur of the moment thing to possibly win. The only reason they cut him now is because of this mess.
It was just really, super poor communication on Mixup's part and even poorer response from Nick who could have been pissed and just gone to LAN, or just quit and not show instead of making all these things a public issue.

he found out he was going to get cut AFTER ESEA LAN but BEFORE i52 through a video that showed a different line up for i52. he was pissed because it somehow slipped the minds of his entire team for a whole season (they made these plans right after s15 LAN and no one told him). so he rages about it and they find out and then go ahead and cut him before ESEA lAN

mixup handled this ridiculously poorly
AT THE SAME TIME, you can't begrudge anyone for wanting the most competitive roster for i52, they're representing all of NA and if they go with a mediocre medic that could be the difference between crushing epsilon or losing to them, you never know
it's sorta bigger than the players, they have a big burden on them

yea i mean squid's shitty justification is that no one ever told nick he was playing at i52 so therefore he shouldn't have assumed he was and therefore he's in the wrong for being mad and raging at a friend about it. "Nick fucked us over." in reality they fucked over nick by going an entire season without saying a word to him about it. imagine how much better it woulda been if they told nick when asking him to play the season "hey buddy, btw we aren't going to use you for i52, but you'll get to play ESEA LAN with us" let him come to terms with that and if he still wants to play everything is cool and if he doesn't you go pick up someone else. and yea nick should've known that chatlogs get around but like damn dude people usually vent when they get fucked over that hard

You're really missing the actual problem and need to read the thread a bit better. They weren't just spontaneously cutting him before i52. The team's plan from the beginning of the season was to have Nick med for them during the regular season and switch Harb to med and pick up Seagull for i52.
Mixup did not communicate this to Nick when they first picked him up which is fucking astounding and the whole reason that there is a problem at all, so they are definitely the reason there is an issue.
But Nick did not act mature about this at all and had a variety of options that would have him keep his respect of his former teammates and not detract from the huge fuck up Mixup has pulled. But he didn't and now he is just as much a bad guy if not more than Mixup.

So what is this problem?
Please be very clear, I'm not very smart :(

...i guess this is why are not using the ESEA LAN standings to determine who gets the i52.tf fundraising dollars/slot

Mix^'s Problem: Not telling nick before the season started that they only wanted him for ESEA and not i52.
Ninjanick's Problem: Talking shit about his team behind their backs which inevitably turned into a pastebin and ruined any chance of them playing together at LAN.
