omniunleashyCan you help me out again? :-)
Remember the fonts "disappearing" problem I mentioned earlier on the thread? So yeah, I found more places where this is also happening. I found it on the MvM buy upgrades panel (in the description of upgrades) and on the competitive spectator scoreboard (that one that shows the health, uber etc when on competitive, the same glitch that happened to the 'normal' scoreboard).
Can you guide me to "fixing" this? Thanks! I can post screenshots if you need, bye!
I know the font sizes this is probably happening with the most, and it's sizes 8 and 10. That's because these are tiny. Best way to fix this problem temporarily (I guess) is to open up resource/ClientScheme.res and find:
Noto8
Noto10
NotoSemibold8
NotoSemibold10
NotoBold8
NotoBold10
NotoLight8
NotoLight10
NotoExtrabold8
NotoExtrabold10
And replacing all their "tall" values with 12
However, due to some HUD panel sizes, 12 might cut off the bottom of some of the text. But unfortunately, there's not much I can currently do about it. This is the best option, I'm afraid.
Ahh dammit. Well ok I'll try this and edit this later. Anyways, thanks!

Hey!
Cool HUD, really do love it.
But could you help me out with one thing? I know the file for FreezePanel_Basic.res shows the killcam, and it works fine, but I want to know what variables I have to mess with to make it so I can see what weapon my killer was holding.
Like, "N3RD CLICKER is carrying Gore-Spattered Scatergun" etc etc
It's really just a personal touch for me, but other than that, this HUD was really well done, great job.

Might make an alternate file for this in the near future.

Did a quick update for the Love & War update.

Haven't redesigned panels like the Taunt Selection yet. Reason being is that I'm busy. I'll get to it later on and post here again when I'm done.

Hi there!
I downloaded this HUD just now, and I think it's really cool.
I'm having an issue though that maybe you could help me with?
The built in crosshair doesn't seem to be properly centered for some reason.
Here's two images that show the problem. http://imgur.com/bwnAw5O,9epJfI2
Thanks!
edit: I'm playing on 1366 x 768 resolution, if that makes a difference

You have to center it by yourself by going into hudlayout.res, finding the crosshair and changing the X Y Wide and Tall coordinates

I've tried every possible coordinate for x and y now, and it still refuses to line up.
I give up
How to remove the crosshair entirely? :^)

When the hud came out, I tried positioning the crosshair correctly for this resolution (1366x768) and it seems impossible.
Just go in scripts/hudlayout.res, search for BanjoeTooie and set "visible" and "enabled" to 0 to disable it.

Yeah, I removed it now, thanks for the help.
Too bad it had to come to that, the crosshair is nice, and the colour flash is a cool detail.

Just wanted to ask how you get the buttons in like the server menu to highlight as green? What do you have to change to get a different color?

do you know if there's an easy way to download only modified files in a particular commit? i mostly ask for manual patching, and i know github has some merge functionality but that requires the user to have the git thing installed and the hud treated as a repository on their computer.
the closest things i saw were:
https://github.com/omnibombulator/noto/commit/018cc3912b40f2abd93b403698769230195e14ce
on the commit page, click "show diff stats" and copy those files out of the zip into your hud directory
https://github.com/omnibombulator/noto/commit/018cc3912b40f2abd93b403698769230195e14ce.patch
add .patch to the end of the commit page url to get a patch file, but it requires the installed program

It's pretty much what you said. Using Git itself is really the best solution if you don't mind taking some time to learn how to use it, especially if you have custom modifications that you don't want to overwrite.

I would want to ask a quick question, since I want to add the shadows to the ammo and health, but sadly there is no .res file that was mentioned in the README that was included in the hud files. I'm just wondering if there is another way to do it, because on well-lit maps such as process the hud can be barely seen sometimes and you just can't see your health unless you get buffed or low on health.

That's because I accidentally mentioned the wrong directory. It's resource/hudplayerhealth.res and resource/HudAmmoWeapons.res, not scripts. I don't know why I wrote that.
Update coming later.

any chance this'll ever be a mac-friendly hud?

I learned from your HUD that you can get a shaded background by just adding bgcolor_override to a HUD element. That's a neat trick, thanks for that :) Also shortening "Waiting For Players" to "Waiting" is a nice little detail that I adopted.

I love this HUD so much, it's even made me switch off of Broeselhud, which I've used for so long I forgot, the only issue I have is a personal one, but if anybody could help Id be glad.
Anyway. My resolution is 1366 x 768, if that help at all, and I feel like the chat box is a little to high, because it's was up in the top left corner. Is there anyway I can lower it?

Go to resource/ui and open BaseChat with Notepad++ or whatever program you use. Then change the xpos of 'HudChat'. The higher the number is the lower it will move. To check if it's okay tab back ingame and type hud_reloadscheme into console.

Did an update related to Robot Destruction. Decided to hold off on any customization of the game mode until Valve stops changing the HUD and the way the game mode works. Removed all the files relating to RD.
https://github.com/omnibombulator/noto
Also, I'm re-doing pretty much all of the out-of-game menus. I don't even know why and I'm not sure if people will even like them.

They'll be released in a later update.
